
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on the 19th of January, 2008 in the USA. She was an American film television, theatre, as well as voice actor. 1. Pleshette began her career in theatre and started appearing in films in the late 1950s. She later appeared in prominent films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Later, she appeared on numerous television shows and was frequently acting as a guest. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 through 1978 and received a number of Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January, 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer, who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager at both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
