Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. The mother of her children was a film buff and instilled an interest in films in the young girl. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities and was particularly interested in drama. She was a member of her class and was a part of the school's plays. After performing in a variety of shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her occupation. She was enrolled in The University of Southern Calif's summer camp, and loved it immensely. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. As soon as she completed the assignment in three months the first task was working in the production department for documentaries on television. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable but was determined to pursue a career as an actor. Her acting journey began with a small character in the film romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then, she has appeared in many popular movies and television programs.
