Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson began her career in TV as a child model and actress. Her most famous role was Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea tried out for and was awarded the role as Lynn Tanner of the ALF successful program (1986). The actress was a regular in a variety of TV shows as well as Movies of the week before she decided to leave the world of entertainment. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was a difficult one for her. The People's 2000 review of Elson discovered that she was unable to make progress as a female when she was in the presence of the audience on a sitcom. Green-eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th, 1969. Elson grew up to become a traveling actress because her father had a job as an executive in advertising. Prior to turning ten, old she had lived between New York Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles. While in San Diego Andrea got an agent, and was able to get the part she auditioned for. Fusco was in favor of the idea explaining, "ALF can drink beer since he's older than 285." NBC warned Fusco to prevent ALF from drinking in front of children because it was an unsuitable model. Fusco thought ALF could drink alcohol even though he was an adult. He was diagnosed in 1995 with lymphoma. The treatment was successful, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. He died from the disease on June 26, 2019 aged 75 in the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
