Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the world of pop music, is an British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There together with three students, he formed his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Though he's been attracted to music, he also interested in becoming an attorney or an physiotherapist. For a while he worked for a short time in a bakeshop within his town and hoped to assist people financially in the home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band was forced to break up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were formed in 2010. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which allowed them to become the leading contenders to win the competition. They were in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. But Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
